In the wake of treachery, the young twins are forced to flee, finding refuge in the care of their mystical grandfather. The looming question is whether he can shield them from the clutches of the ruthless traitor queen, or if their mother, the imprisoned queen, can escape to reunite with her children.
Believing her family dead, all hope seems lost for Cecilia. But when the high priestess visits her with news of her twins, she is filled with new life and determination. Planning a daring escape, she knows she must getaway. It's the only way to protect her children and save Ethos from a vindictive and heartless tyrant, Elinor.

My books are written in a way that I followed my characters lead, seeing where they take me. They are dark at times, with moments of sorrow, loss, and heartache, yet lighter moments too. Knowing this, I am mindful that certain themes in these books might be difficult for some readers.
In book one, these include signs of depression and moments of self-harm in one character, who, because of circumstances does reference to unalive themselves. With another character, there are a couple of spicy scenes in the book. These are on chapter 16, A New Reign and 21 Allies. If you don’t like high spice, go ahead, and start reading both these chapters, but skip to the next one when those scenes come up (you’ll know when you reach them). Although I do recommend reading the last 5 paragraphs of Allies, as there is some key detail for the rest of the book! Sorry I cannot be more specific with page numbers but depending on the format you are reading this in, I don’t want to accidentally give readers the wrong pages to stop or start at.
In book 2, there are similar themes again, with a couple of open-door spicy scenes, a detailed birth scene, torture and mentions of unaliving children from Elinor.

Marine Biologist Mia dreamed of something more—so when a job offer from a remote island marine conservation centre arrives, she jumps at the chance. With a new home, new role as lead biologist, and her girlfriend Tash beside her, it feels like life has finally fallen into place.
But even paradise isn’t perfect.
When a journalist twists her words into a divisive headline, the small-town trust she’s built begins to unravel. Forced to lay low while the storm passes, she turns inward, until her girlfriend Tash reminds her that she needs to breathe, and spend some time back in nature, doing what she loves. It’s shared chips on a dock, windblown sketches, and the slow, surprising pull of something magical beginning.
Between reef dives, small-town politics, and windswept sketches that capture more than just sea life, A Picture of Us is a heartwarming novella of salty air, soft kisses, and second chances—perfect for readers who still believe in the magic of a happily ever after.
